If you don't have a credit card, you can use a PayPal account if you wish to donate money to evo-league. Another easy way to donate is sending the money directly to my bank account. Most banks do not take fees for international transfers anymore. If you would like to get my account details for an international transfer, simply ask me for it in the chat or send me a PM on the forum.

So why should you spend money on something you can get for free? Well, first of all, I'm not expecting to be paid for the work hours I put into evo-league, but the hosting costs that I've been paying for since the league started back in November 2004. All income from this account will be spent to pay for the evo-league.com hosting, then for player goodies such as medals for tournament winners.

The league is way more successful than I initially expected, with over 2100 registered users and 90000 games played to date. As much as I'm happy about this success, this means a lot of administrative work for me, leaving little room for more site improvements than I already added over the months. I would like to keep this site up and running as long as I can afford it, adding support for new versions of PES and WE when they are released. However, if little or no people feel this is a service worth giving a few dollars for, I'll probably spend my time and money doing something more reasonable.

Rather than putting up advertising banners that annoy the hell out of everyone, I chose this option. I think asking for a small fraction of the amount you (should have) paid for the game is not asking for too much. Keep in mind that supporting sites and projects you like is an easy way of appreciating someone's work and helps them to keep going. Thank you for your support.
