if you could choose your prem dream team with only maximum of 3 players from each team who would be your 11 what formation and why Smile just thought would make a good topic heres mine:
GK: Cech
RB : Chimbonda
LB : G.Barry
CB: Vidic
CB: Terry
RM: C.Ronaldo
LM: Lennon
CM:Rosicky
CM:Lampard
CF:Rooney
CF:Berbatov
whos yours?
i choose these players as i think together if all play well would be a dominant force plus its based around some of my favourite players in the league and some of the most talented.

I'm basing mine partially around last seasons performances

GK: Cech - The Best Goalkeeper in the Premiership

DL: Shorey - Exceptional debut season in the EPL last season, delivers quality from the left all day long

DR: Neville - One of the most consistent players in the world, has a great attacking dimension to his game.

DC: Carragher - Again one of the most consistent players in the Premiership, gives his all every game.

DC: Toure - Partnering someone like Carragher, Toure would excel, lightning pace, phenomenal strength and excellent ball skills make him one of my favourite players in the Prem.

ML: Giggs - Up there with the greatest Premiership players ever, and probably my favourite player of all time. Outrageously underrated, even when he's praised, adapting his game over 14 years and still being effective at the highest level is remarkable.

MC: Essien - Potentially the most devastating midfielder to grace the Premiership, the man has it all from pace to strength, a wonderful range of passing AND he never stops running. Has the chance to be a true premiership great.

MC: Gerrard - There's only one man to partner Essien and it has to be Gerrard. Imagine this midfield together - frightening.

MR: Ronaldo - Again like Essien and Gerrard has the potential to be one of the greatest premiership players ever, and if he builds on last season it could be mindblowing.

FC: Bent - Bit of a surprise pick but I really rate him, anyone who can score 1 in 2 at CHARLTON has to be something special. He has a record for goalscoring every club he's been at - again one of my favourite players.

FC: Berbagod - Incredible player, like the Roger Federer of football style wise anyway.

When he was at Bayer i thought he was average but he was nothing but superb for Spurs last year, everthing seems to come easy to him, if your a fan and yer in a ground he's excatly the type of player you go to watch !

Doesn't really belong here, but I found it very interesting:

Sky Sports experts (really?) predict the outcome of the EPL this season:
http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11096_2650512,00.html

Every single one of them has put ManU to win, some have even put Van Persie as top goalscorer, Torres as biggest flop and Tevez as best buy or player of the year.

I mostly agree with the relegation candidates, but I really can't see how can somebody predict Michael Owen as top scorer (2 seasons without any games), Van Persie as player of the season (many candidates come to mind before him not to mention the team should probably finish 1st or 2nd to have any chance at all), Torres as the biggest flop (that will have to be Bent, so much money for a striker that is probably 4th best in his club, besides he'll face Jol's rotation policy) and a few other ''pearls''.

There is also a prediction table, they really went for surprises, lol...: http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11096_2643110,00.html

Strange?! I thought the guy is a forward, then I'd personally rather have Drogba, Rooney, Berbatov, Martins, Mccarthy and probably a few more ahead of him. I also feel he only looks world-class compared to his Arsenal teammates in the attack, don't think he'd be a starter in any of the other top 4 EPL clubs (replace Arsenal with Tottenham), but that is just my opinion.

Actually, here's my 11:

GK: Cech
CB:Terry
CB:Vidic
CB:Rio
DM:Essien
CM:Gerrard
CM:Cesc
RW:C.Ronaldo
LW:Malouda
CF:Drogba
CF:Berbatov

Well with Berbatov its simple we all watched him play last season and seen alot of good things, dont care about the past or how good or bad he was in Germany fact is he was great here last year, if Van Persie can get a full season behind him then maybe we will see just how good he is, Potential is there and now he is the spearhead of the Arsenal Attack its down to him to prove your point correct, i like Van Persie for the record, but if i would chose a striker right now for my team it'd be Berbatov !

A striker who is playing in a team who wants to go for Champions League is 12 goals in 32 matches not great stats isnt?... Yeah it was his first year but Liverpool's Kuijt did the same thing, scoring 12 goals, but he did that in a rolation team. I hear nobody about him... Van Persie is showing his class every match again. He's not a striker and his job is not to be a topscorer but this young guy made also 12 goals but in a half season! I would say let Berbatov prove he's a world class striker...

Did you see The Robbie Keane & Dimitar Bebartov partnership last year Confused its not all about scoring goals as 23 in all competitions is enough IMO especially when your other 2 strikers score goals too

Berbatov Games 43(6) Goals 23
Defoe Games 29(20) Goals 18
Keane Games 31(13) Goals 22

Wayne Rooney is prove you dont have to be the number one striker and score a certain amount off goals as like Berbatov its about creating and assisting goals too which Keane & Berbatov did between them last year !

Kuijt is good, but not in the class of Berbatov !
